Fax On Demand
What Is It?
Fax on Demand is sometimes known as 'Fax Back'. For a small monthly fixed fee this service allows your customers to dial up and receive written information from you 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at no further cost, or time, to yourself.
You choose the information you want to make available to your customers. This could be price lists, event information, product updates or a company newsletter. You fax these sheets onto your Fax on Demand mailbox, to store them there. You then advertise and distribute your Fax on Demand number to customers and potential customers.
They dial the number from a fax telephone. They hear your welcome greeting and then options as to the type of information they would like to receive. E.g. "If you would like to receive a list of this month's events, please press 1 on your fax machine. For an up-to-date product list, please press 2 on your fax machine ... " etc.
They make their choice and the fax is delivered immediately to their fax machine. It has not cost you anything and you do not incur the time-consuming jobs of individual mailings or faxes.
What Are the Benefits?
Fax on Demand allows customers to gain access to information about your company at any time of day or night. Prospective customers do not have to wait for the information to reach them by post or rely on a call back during office hours. It frees up time and staff.
It is simple to use: We allocate you a number. You advertise the number. Customers ring in, hear a brief explanation of your company and can then choose what they wish to receive, for example price lists, special offers, event information, whatever you choose to make available to them.

You are not charged when a customer rings in and retrieves information. You only pay a small monthly fee. Callers need no special equipment; as long as they dial from fax telephone they simply press a key to immediately receive the information they require. There is no special equipment required to set the service up. It is all done on an ordinary fax telephone.

Our system takes multiple incoming calls. So if more than one person dials at the same time, they will not be put off by the busy tone. They can all get through and receive the information of their choice at the same time.
There are simple pre-recorded voice prompts for you to follow to set up the service, and also simple voice prompts for customers to follow when they dial in.
We offer 2 different service levels to suit your individual needs. Our standard service allows you to store one piece of information, up to 10 pages long for customers to retrieve. Our advanced service allows you to store 5 pieces of information, each up to 10 pages long for customers to choose from. You can update or change both your recorded options and the actual faxes as often as you choose.
There is no minimum contract period. This means you can cancel at any time just by calling or writing to us.
How Much Does It Cost?
You are not charged when customers dial in to retrieve information. You only pay a one-off fee for your Fax on Demand number and a small fixed monthly payment.
